ألقت الشرطة الكولومبية القبض على أحد كبار تجار المخدرات من بيرو، ويدعى جيرسون ألداير جالفيز كالي ، المعروف باسم « كاراكول» حسب ما قال وزير الدفاع الكولومبي لويس كارلوس فييجاس.
وأضاف الوزير في تصريحات أوردتها قناة «سكاي نيوز» اليوم الأحد أن مكتب الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة المخدرات والجريمة ، وكذلك شرطة بيرو يعتبران جالفيز كالي واحدا من أخطر تجار المخدرات على مستوى العالم.
وقال الوزير إن جالفيز كالي اعتقل أمس السبت في مطعم بمدينة ميدين الكولومبية، وإنه سيسلم للسلطات البيروفية التي رصدت مكافأة قدرها 150 ألف دولار لمن يقدم معلومات تقود للقبض عليه.
